Welcome to the personal part of my racing web site.  This part was created to describe me and my interests other than racing.  To start, my name is Rusty.  I was born on a dark stormy night in July of 1988 in Pennsylvania.   I've started racing when I was 10 years old. In June of 1998 we bought our first car and went racing at York, PA.  I finished 18th in my class in points that season.

Soapbox Derby Racing is a family sport. In addition to my racing, my mom and dad and sisters are very involved.  Dad is responsible for working on our car, and mom and my sisters assist me in the pits when my dad is at the top of the hill.  Since I have been racing I have participated in events at about 16 different tracks.

We are now into the 2004 racing season.  I competed in and won the All American Local race in York, Pa in June. I competed in both the All American local and NDR races in the Masters Division. In addition I will be competed in Super Stock in August in a local race for fun.
